After the powerful BOSS radio technology was used for the first time in the wireless Katana Air guitar amplifier, the WL-20 series now also benefits from the outstanding sound quality and the large dynamic range. The radio systems work in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and automatically find the optimal channel to ensure maximum stable audio transmission without drop-outs. In addition, thanks to the extremely low latency of only 2.3 ms, you will not hear any time lag when playing. Up to 14 BOSS radio systems can be used in one room at the same time. In this way, several musicians can benefit from the wireless freedom at the same time. *

The WL-20 wireless system is just as easy to use as a conventional guitar cable. The compact transmitter is plugged into the instrument input of the instrument, while the matching receiver is connected to a pedal or amplifier. That's all!

With the WL-20 series you don't get lost in tricky channel setups. All you need to do is pair the transmitter and receiver for ten seconds. The WL-20 automatically takes care of the optimal radio connection.

For guitarists and bassists with conventional passive pickups (the most common type of pickup), the WL-20 model is the perfect choice. The receiver has an integrated cable simulation that reproduces the natural capacitive effect of a 3m guitar cable in conjunction with passive pickups. In the course of this effect, the treble is slightly attenuated and you get the warm sound of a wired instrument.

The WL-20L model is identical to the WL-20, but works without a cable simulation. This makes the WL-20L perfect for instruments that do not have a large capacitive effect on the sound, including acoustic and electric guitars with an integrated preamp and / or active pickups as well as instruments with line level, such as a keytar or that Roland Aerophone. In addition, the WL-20L also works very well with passive pickup systems - especially if you don't value the subtle height attenuation provided by the cable simulation.
