Formerly TecAmp, Thomas Eich's new company is once again aiming to implement Eich's ideas one hundred percent... without cutbacks, without compromises! The young brand's model range was presented at the London Bass Guitar Show! 100% Made in Germany! As with all Eich amps, only the finest materials and components were selected to deliver a solid bass sound!
The ultra-compact 210XS impresses with its extremely focused mids, which make the bass sound unmistakable in the band structure. Thanks to the consistent lightweight construction with the 15 mm thick poplar wood panels, Eich has succeeded in creating a box that is as light as a feather! By using a voice coil with windings on the inside and outside of the coil carrier, Eich achieves a 40% higher continuous load capacity.
The elegant 4" CT1 tweeter reproduces the upper frequency range with great detail and impresses with its finely drawn highs. The tweeter can be adjusted to suit your taste in sound using the off, half and full switches. The stainless steel rod on the underside can be inserted into the rear wall to tilt the 210XS to ensure a 45° monitor position. For optimal damping, Eich's housings are equipped with struts and convoluted foam to prevent unwanted resonances. Because of these inner values, the focused, powerful sound, the easy handling and the tonal flexibility, the 210XS is also particularly popular with double bass players.
