The Ernie Ball Medium Scale Bass strings use the same production methods and materials as the popular Slinky Nickel Wound strings
With the same Slinky feel and clear, balanced tone, these strings were specially developed for basses with a scale length of up to 32.5" (82.55 cm)
but also fit basses with a shorter scale length and string-through bridge, for example on vintage Fender Mustangs
