FMC cabinets impress with their assertive, powerful sound combined with a lightweight and transport-friendly design. All cabinets are equipped with the latest generation of lightweight neodymium drivers and are constructed from 15mm poplar plywood. Unwanted cabinet vibrations and reflections are suppressed by bracing and complete damping with convoluted foam inside the cabinet. This ensures a clean, consistent sound even at high volumes.
The FMC Downfire Bass Reflex System consists of bass reflex ports embedded in the cabinet floor. Despite its compact cabinet dimensions, this system produces a voluminous bass that's easily controllable. In acoustically challenging rooms, the vents can be closed if necessary, thus easily suppressing unwanted low-frequency tones (covers for this purpose are available as an option). The speakers can also be angled using an optional tilt system.
