Note: This item is used. The JB5 was manufactured in 2017 and first purchased in 2019. The guitar is in very good overall condition, with only minimal signs of use and is technically flawless. There is a small black discoloration (unclear whether it's part of the wood grain) at the neck/body joint, see mark. The factory strings have been changed to D'Addario 40-125 nickel. Includes a lockable G&G hardshell case (red interior).
While not as well-known as Fender, G&L has become a legend in its own right! Founded by Leo Fender and George Fullerton, G&L instruments are essentially the latest evolution of these legendary instruments!
Since G&L launched the G&L JB, a Jazz Bass crafted in Fullerton, years ago, it has captivated bassists with classic Alnico tones, enhanced by the G&L Saddle-Lock bridge developed by Leo Fender, offering improved attack and sustain. The G&L JB-5 is now a five-string bass with a comfortable neck profile that makes it particularly pleasant to play!
Founded by Leo Fender in 1980, G&L USA continues to manufacture its instruments at the historic G&L factory on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California – the birthplace of the bolt-on guitar!
