Udo Klempt-Gießing founded the company Glockenklang in Herford in 1975. Initially, the focus was on the development and manufacture of high-quality PA, disco, DJ, and studio equipment. Glockenklang gained worldwide attention in the late 1980s with its flagship "Bugatti" system.
Today, the company's focus is on equipment for electric and double bass. Glockenklang produces high-quality bass systems and electronics that enable an authentic reproduction of the instrument's sound.
