The Steamhammer is another Class D amplifier from Glockenklang. This one, too, delivers the purity of sound, dynamics, and warmth that Glockenklang is known for, even at the highest volume levels. Class A input stage, footswitchable drive section with level control and switchable voice filter, switchable 4-way EQ with 2 switchable mids, footswitchable, adjustable effects loop, MP3 input, switchable balanced DI out, tuner out and headphone output are practical features. This compact amplifier comes with optional rack ears for 19" 1.5U mounting, a carrying case, and a high-end power cable. Output power (switch on the rear panel) is switchable between 700 W / 4 ohms, 380 W / 8 ohms, and 700 W / 2.7 ohms, 470 W / 4 ohms, and 240 W / 8 ohms. In short: dynamics, musicality, punch, warmth, rocking overdrive with voicing, and a feel-good factor!
