Ibanez Bass Workshop Series SRMS805L, Deep Twilight, Lefthand

For beginners, the multi-scale concept may seem a little unusual, but the biggest surprise is how comfortable you feel with the instrument after a minute or two. The different distances between the fret and the bridge improve the tone and make the bass sound better.

For more than 40 years, Ibanez has been breaking new ground in bass development, pushing the boundaries of conventional designs for bassists of all styles, offering new opportunities to express creativity. This spirit of discovery has led to the production of some of the most successful and popular basses of all time. The basis for this ongoing project is the constant effort to bring new and relevant ideas to the musical frontier, which is reflected in the Bass Workshop series. The drive behind each of these unique instruments comes from the Ibanez Bass development team's desire to fulfill the special wishes of many bassists. These inventions are perfect for those looking for new sonic possibilities with the bass medium, the Ibanez Bass Workshop project could provide just what they are looking for.

The left-handed SRMS805L comes with a burl poplar top on an Okoume body, a 5-piece Jatoba/Walnut neck and a Panga Panga fingerboard with a 35.5 - 34 multi scale. The bass is also equipped with Bartolini BH2 pickups with Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ and an MR5S bridge.
