Ibanez Prestige Series SR5506, Mocha Flat

For 30 years, the SR has offered bassists a modern alternative. Due to its enduring popularity, Ibanez is constantly striving to meet the needs of different players with different budgets. But no matter what the specifications are, the heart is always the same: the SR impresses with its soft, fast neck, lightweight body and perfectly coordinated electronics.

The Ibanez Prestige line is based on three principles: precision, performance and playability. It combines high-tech manufacturing techniques with traditional Japanese craftsmanship to create real innovations in design and construction. The ideas and suggestions of musicians from all over the world form the cornerstones of the Prestige production process.

The SR5506 comes with an Ovangkol top on an African mahogany body, a 5-piece S-TECH maple/walnut neck and a rosewood fingerboard with Luminlay side dots. The bass is also equipped with Nordstrand Big Single pickups with wood cover, an Ibanez Sonitech preamp 3-band EQ and an MR5S bridge.
