Orange stands for true guitar amplifier history. It's been over 50 years since Cliff Cooper founded his company Orange with a borrowed £50. To this day, he remains the sole owner and continues to steer much of the company's fortunes. From the very beginning, they not only manufactured "rock-solid" British rock amps, but also focused on innovation. For example, Orange introduced a programmable guitar amplifier, the OMEC Digital, as early as 1975 (!!!)! Many more innovations followed, including the founding of the so-called lunchbox amp format with the introduction of the Tiny Terror. All of this has not gone unnoticed – in addition to countless industry awards, Orange received the "Queen's Award for Enterprise and International Trade" for the third time in 2012, arguably the highest and most honorable honor a company can receive in England!
