Alongside the new and improved Doug Wimbish Euro basses, Spector is introducing a unique feature for the first time: an artificially aged bass as a production model. This particular model is a limited edition Amber Stain version.
With this limited edition, Spector continues the Doug Wimbish "Aged Series" and is pleased to present the brand-new Doug Wimbish Euro 4 Aged White Signature Bass. This time, Spector delves into Doug's incredible collection of vintage Spector basses to recreate one of his most iconic vintage basses: his white NS-2.
The Doug Wimbish Euro 4 Aged White Signature Model features a lightly aged white nitrocellulose lacquer finish for a beautiful, well-played look and feel. Other specifications include maple body wings, the slim DW neck profile with a narrow 1.5" nut width, a rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl crown inlays, and gold Spector hardware.
The electronics offer a rarity for Spector's Euro series – an EMG Jazz configuration combined with Spector's recently developed Legacy preamp (designed in collaboration with Darkglass Electronics), which features a classic, 1980s-inspired 2-band EQ.
