For 50 years, Ian Hill has been providing the low notes for the legendary Judas Priest. To celebrate 50 years of uncompromising metal anthems, Ian's signature bass has now been upgraded with new specifications. His name is synonymous with classic heavy metal, and his signature Spector has been meticulously crafted to deliver his legendary tone to all bassists. The Euro4 Ian Hill is reminiscent of a Spector from the '80s, featuring solid maple body wings, a three-piece maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a special Judas Priest 50th Anniversary inlay, premium electronics, and gold hardware.
The neck profile of the Euro4 Ian Hill has been carefully tapered to Ian's specifications, resulting in a slimmer shape that's smooth and comfortable. When it comes to reproducing the countless classic tones from the Judas Priest repertoire, Ian relies on a single EMG P pickup and a proprietary Spector TonePump preamp. Together, this package delivers enough power and versatility to cut through any mix. The Euro4 Ian Hill is the perfect choice for die-hard Judas Priest fans or bassists seeking an instrument that delivers both classic and cutting sounds.
